Adjust your job preferences to reduce unsuitable matches or widen a search that has too few results.
Adjust your search
Open Profile → Job Preferences and review Target roles. Use specific titles for the work you want, rather than broad categories.
Review Experience level, Preferred locations, Workplace, and Minimum salary using the guidance below.
Set Employment type, Industry, and Company size to the options you would accept. Narrower selections reduce the available pool.
Select Save.
What you will see: Wobo re-checks your Feed, usually within about 30 to 60 minutes of your last edit. Matches that no longer fit drop off and suitable new matches can replace them.
Review jobs you previously selected in Job History. Use Cancel while available if you no longer want one. Preference changes do not withdraw submitted applications or undo your earlier swipe decisions.
Fix location mismatches
Preferred locations, Workplace, and Open to relocation? work together.
A city covers roughly a 30 km radius. You can select several locations; selecting a whole country includes jobs across that country.
Remote options match independently of your preferred cities. A remote job may show another city or Anywhere. Turn off remote options if you want only local jobs.
Regional remote options, such as Remote in United States, Remote in Canada, or Remote in Europe, narrow the remote search. Employers can still have their own hiring and work-authorization requirements.
Setting Open to relocation? to Yes expands the search to the country of each preferred location. Choose No if you do not want to move.
If a niche role and a narrow location produce few matches, widen the titles or locations, or include remote work if you would accept it.
Fix seniority mismatches
Select the levels you want in Experience level and remove the others. This setting filters jobs by level. For example, choose Junior and Mid-Level if those are your targets, rather than Senior or Director.
Check Target roles as well. A title such as Lead, Principal, Head of, or Director describes senior responsibilities even if another setting says you want junior work.
Exclude unwanted title words
On the website, open Settings → General → Excluded job titles. Add a word or phrase, or use a suggestion such as Senior, Lead, Principal or Director. The preview shows affected jobs. If a word also matches one of your target roles, reconsider it: excluding Manager can also exclude Product Manager.
You may be asked to confirm a term that hides more than half your waiting jobs. Remove a tag to stop excluding it. The setting saves automatically and filters your Feed and Autopilot right away. Previously liked jobs still go through.
Focus on newer postings
Open Settings → General → Job freshness, enable Job posted within, and choose 3, 7, 14, 30, 60 or 90 days. Enabling starts at 14 days; turn it off to remove the age limit. A smaller window reduces the available pool, so widen it if you would accept older listings.
This setting is available on every plan and affects your Feed and Autopilot right away. Previously liked jobs still go through. On job cards, Posted uses the job board's posting date; Listed uses when Wobo first found the job.
Check salary settings
Minimum salary combines an amount, currency, and pay period. Enter the currency directly; you do not need to convert to U.S. dollars. Check that an hourly figure is set to hour, rather than year.
This is a minimum you would accept. Jobs whose published pay tops out below it are excluded; jobs without published pay can still appear. A high minimum can reduce the number of matches.
Wobo also uses this figure when answering salary questions. If an application shows an incorrect salary answer, check the amount, currency, and period. In an editable application review, correct the answer before approving. Use the explicit profile-update action when you also want to correct your profile; ordinary review edits stay in that application. A profile correction does not rewrite a previously submitted application.
Exclude a company
Open Settings → General → Excluded companies to add companies you do not want Wobo to match or apply to.
What changes by plan
All plans use your preferences for matching. Free provides daily matches and 5 application credits per day. Unlimited lets you choose jobs yourself and includes application document tailoring. Autopilot selects jobs for you, adds a relevance and deal-breaker review, and offers Min. match score, Apply delay, and Weekly cap controls.
If matches still look clearly wrong after the refresh, contact support with an example job and the preference it does not meet.
