Wobo doesn't show or apply to jobs at the company you work for now. This is on by default for every account.
Where to find the setting
On the website, open Settings → General and find Excluded companies. The Never apply to my current employer switch shows the companies Wobo uses, for example "From your profile: Acme." If no job in your profile is marked current, it says so.
The mobile app doesn't have this switch. The setting still applies there; change it on the website.
How Wobo knows your current employer
Wobo uses every job in your profile marked I currently work here. If you have more than one current job, all of those companies are skipped.
Placeholder names such as Self-employed, Freelance, Independent or Confidential are not treated as employers.
Wobo matches company names even when they're written a little differently. "Fidelity" in your profile also matches jobs at "Fidelity Investments Inc.", and the other way around.
What it affects
Your Feed doesn't show jobs at your current employer, and Autopilot doesn't pick them.
If you add a job by link at your current employer, you'll see "This is your current employer. You can allow it in Automation settings." Those are the same Settings → General settings.
Applications that were already waiting stop before they're sent to your current employer.
Apply to your current employer anyway
Applying for an internal role? Turn off Never apply to my current employer.
Changed jobs? Open Profile, edit your old job, and add an end date or uncheck I currently work here.
Jobs you want are missing?
Check whether the company's name matches a job marked current in your profile, including when one name contains the other. Also check Excluded companies, Excluded job titles and Job freshness in the same settings.
If Wobo applied to your current employer after October 19, 2026 while the switch was on, contact us and our team will look into it.
