Manage your Account settings

Control applications, tailoring, notifications, subscription billing and account access from Account.

Written by Martha Schwartz

Use Account settings to control your applications, subscription, notifications and sign-in details.

Open Account settings

  1. Select Settings from the sidebar.

  2. Choose General, Privacy, Notifications, Subscription, or Security from the settings rail.

What you will see: the selected section opens with its controls. General settings and notification preferences save automatically.

General: control applications

To pause new applications, turn off Actively applying. The header changes to Applying is paused. Wobo keeps finding matches, and your subscription billing continues. Turn the switch back on to resume.

Under How Wobo applies, choose one of the two mode cards:

  • Autopilot: Wobo selects matching jobs and applies for you automatically.

  • Swipe to apply: you approve jobs in the Feed, and Wobo submits the applications you select.

Selecting Autopilot on Free or Unlimited opens an upgrade prompt.

Review answers and documents before submission

Turn on Review before applying in Settings → General, if the switch is available for your account. New applications, including Autopilot selections, will wait in Job History → Review for your approval.

Open a waiting application to check its resume, cover letter when requested, and answers. Complete missing details, then select Approve application or Approve & next. Approval queues that application; Applied confirms submission. Save & exit keeps your draft without approving it.

This is separate from Swipe to apply, which lets you choose the jobs. You can let Autopilot choose jobs while still reviewing each application before it is sent. Edits normally stay in that application; use the explicit profile-update or future-answer action if you want to reuse a change.

Fine-tune Autopilot

Fine-tuning contains three controls:

  • Apply delay: hold matched jobs for 0 to 7 days before automatic applying.

  • Min. match score: set the minimum score from 0 to 100% for automatic applications.

  • Weekly cap: limit weekly applications, or turn the cap off for no weekly limit.

On Free or Unlimited, selecting these controls opens an upgrade prompt. If you have Autopilot but are using Swipe to apply, selecting a control turns Autopilot back on and applies the setting.

Tailor documents and exclude companies

Under Tailoring, paid plans can turn Tailored resume and Tailored cover letter on or off. When enabled, Wobo creates job-specific documents before applying.

Use Excluded companies to choose companies Wobo should not apply to. Type a company name or select one from the list.

Exclude job titles and choose job freshness

Excluded job titles lets you add unwanted words or phrases, such as Senior or Director. Check the preview of affected jobs and any warning that a term also matches your target roles. Remove a tag to stop excluding it.

Under Job freshness, turn on Job posted within and choose 3, 7, 14, 30, 60 or 90 days. Turning it on starts at 14 days; turning it off removes this age limit. A shorter window can mean fewer matches.

Both settings are available on every plan and save automatically. They filter your Feed and Autopilot selections right away. Jobs you already liked still go through; changing these settings does not withdraw submitted applications.

General settings for applying, fine-tuning and document tailoring

Privacy: control employer discovery

Use Employer discovery to control whether employers on Wobo can discover your profile anonymously. Your name and contact details are shared only after you accept an introduction to a specific company.

Advertising and sharing lets you opt out of sale, sharing and targeted advertising in the current browser. If the browser already sends a Global Privacy Control signal, the control reflects that opt-out.

Notifications: choose email preferences

Under Email preferences, set Weekly job matches, Product news & announcements, and Blog & career tips. Each toggle saves automatically. There is no frequency picker.

Subscription: manage your plan

The Plan & billing section shows your plan status and relevant trial or renewal date. It can also show Payment needs attention or Subscription cancelled.

Select Monthly or Quarterly to compare paid plans. Autopilot and Unlimited have their own plan cards; legacy Plus, Pro and Premium subscribers also see their current plan. Free accounts have a status block instead of a Free plan card.

Under Manage subscription, the options depend on your current plan:

  • Cancel plan: complete the cancellation flow to stop future renewal; access continues through your paid period.

  • Billing Portal: manage payment methods and download invoices.

  • Reactivate: restore a cancelled subscription.

  • Skip Trial & Start: end a free trial and start the paid plan immediately, with an immediate charge.

For app-store subscriptions, the website shows Manage on mobile. Manage payment and cancellation with Apple or Google on your device.

There is no billing pause. Turning off Actively applying only pauses applications.

Security: manage account access

Under Login & account, Email shows your login email, which cannot be changed in the app. Sign-in method shows whether you use email and password, Google, or Apple.

For email-and-password accounts, use Password to enter the current password, a new password of at least 8 characters, and its confirmation. Google and Apple accounts instead show a card for managing sign-in with that provider.

Use Sign out to leave Wobo on this device. Delete account opens a permanent-deletion confirmation with two acknowledgement boxes. Deletion cancels a web subscription, but app-store subscriptions must be cancelled separately with Apple or Google.
