Improve your profile for better job matches

Choose clear target roles, complete your background, and give feedback to improve your matches and application answers.

Use accurate preferences, a complete background, and application feedback to help Wobo find suitable jobs and write stronger applications.

Strengthen your profile

  1. Open Profile → Job Preferences and review Target roles. Choose recognizable job titles such as Product Manager or Business Analyst, rather than broad words such as Manager or Learning. Use the role picker to search or browse available titles.

  2. Set Experience level to the levels you want. Review Preferred locations, Workplace, and Minimum salary together: a narrow combination of role, location, and salary can leave very few openings. Add Remote or broaden locations only if those jobs would work for you.

  3. Select Save in the section header.

What you will see: Wobo re-checks your Feed against the saved preferences, usually within about 30 to 60 minutes. Jobs already in Pending stay there until you cancel them.

  1. Open About you and update Personal info, Documents, Skills & Languages, and your experience. Keep the resume marked as primary current. Add relevant Work Experience, Education, Projects & Volunteer, and Certifications & Awards, including useful background that does not fit on your resume.

  2. Open Application Questions and complete Work Authorization and Screening. Review Saved answers so Wobo can reuse accurate answers. Equal Opportunity details are optional.

Choose titles that match real openings

Specific titles help separate the work you want from unrelated roles. For example, Product Manager is more useful than Manager on its own. Check whether a title appears in real job listings before choosing it.

Niche titles can be appropriate, but fewer employers use them. Use Experience level to express the seniority you want, and avoid titles such as Director or Principal if you do not want those responsibilities.

Review what Wobo sends

Open Job History and review applied jobs. Use the thumbs-up or thumbs-down control to rate a match; when prompted, explain issues such as salary, title, or location.

Open a job's Application tab to review its answers. If an answer needs improvement, give feedback on how you would have answered. Keep your profile current when your experience or preferences change.

If your resume needs work, use Resume Builder to review its score and choose a clear, easy-to-read template. Paid plans also include tailored resumes and cover letters for applications when tailoring is enabled.
