Use the Resume Builder to edit your content, organize sections, and check the finished layout.

Edit your resume

  1. Open a resume in the Resume Builder.

  2. Select Content, then open the section you want to edit.

  3. Update its fields or select its Add button to add an entry, such as Add Experience.

  4. Use the back arrow to return from the entry’s editing panel.

Start with Personal Information

Personal Information stays at the top and cannot be moved or removed. It contains your contact details, links, professional summary and Tailoring settings.

Set Target Role and Experience Level in Tailoring to guide AI suggestions. You can add LinkedIn, GitHub, X, Dribbble or a custom link, and choose whether icons appear in the PDF. For Dribbble, enter the handle only.

Write a short professional summary or use Generate for AI help. Review the suggested text before accepting it.

Choose sections for your background

Section

What you can add

Work Experience

Job title, employer, location, dates, current-role status and achievement bullets

Education

Institution, degree, field of study, location, dates, GPA and achievements

Skills

Skill chips and optional category names

Volunteer Experience and Projects

Role or project details, dates, descriptions, links where available, and achievements

Certifications, Awards and Publications

Names or titles, descriptions and relevant dates

Work Experience, Education and Skills are core sections. The others are optional. You can also create Custom sections in one of three layouts.

Organize your sections

  1. Select Add Section to add a standard section or Create custom section.

  2. Drag a section’s handle to change its position. Drag entries or bullets to reorder them within their section.

  3. Open a section’s menu and choose Rename section to change its displayed heading.

  4. Choose Remove section if you no longer want it shown.

What you will see: section order and headings update on the resume. Personal Information stays first. Section rows show item counts and any Analysis suggestion badge.

Removing a standard section keeps its data so you can add it back. Removing a custom section deletes its contents.

You can drag skill chips within and between categories. Use Hide dates on a dated entry when you do not want its dates displayed.
