Pause automatic applications

Pause applications in Account settings or switch Autopilot to manual job approval.

Written by Martha Schwartz

Pause applications or switch to reviewing each job yourself from your Account settings.

Pause applications

  1. Open Settings from the left sidebar.

  2. Select General.

  3. Turn off Actively applying at the top of the page.

What you will see: The status changes to Applying is paused. Wobo keeps finding matches while applying is paused.

  1. Turn Actively applying back on when you want to resume.

Choose jobs yourself

If you have Autopilot and want to keep applying with manual approval, open Settings → General and select Swipe to apply under How Wobo applies.

What you will see: Your Feed lets you review jobs and approve the ones you want Wobo to apply to. Choose Autopilot again to return to automatic selection.

Keep Autopilot, but approve each application before it is sent

If you want Wobo to keep selecting jobs while you check the answers and documents, turn on Settings → General → Review before applying, when available for your account.

New applications then wait in Job History → Review. You can edit their answers and documents, use Save & exit to return later, or approve one application at a time. Choosing Skip for now during a review session does not approve that application.

Review mode is different from pausing or switching to Swipe to apply. It does not undo applications already submitted. To stop new applications, use Actively applying; to stop a particular pending request, use Cancel while available. An application already in progress may no longer offer cancellation.

Pausing applications changes how Wobo applies. To manage subscription billing, use the cancellation guide below.
