Create a resume

  1. Open Resume under Tools in the sidebar and select Create New Resume.

  2. Enter a Document title that helps you recognize this version in Wobo.

  3. Enter your Target job title and choose an Experience level: Entry, Mid, or Senior.

  4. Choose your starting point: Wobo Profile, Create New, or Import Existing.

  5. If you choose Import Existing, upload your PDF or DOCX. Select Create resume when the form is ready.

What you will see: the Resume Builder opens with the content from your chosen source. Review imported or profile-based details before using the resume.

Create new resume with document title, target role and starting-point options

Choose your starting point

  • Wobo Profile: prefill work experience, education and personal details from your completed profile. This option is available when your profile is complete.

  • Create New: start with a blank resume and enter the details yourself.

  • Import Existing: upload a PDF or DOCX so Wobo can extract its content into an editable resume.

Understand the two names

The Document title is the name used to identify your resume in Wobo. Choose it carefully: it cannot be renamed after creation. To use a different title, create another resume, importing the existing file if helpful.

The download filename is generated from your name and target role. Check the filename preview at the bottom of the create window.

Adjust your target role later

In the builder, open Content → Personal Information → Tailoring to change Target Role or Experience Level. These settings guide AI suggestions and can be updated after creation.
